Walk With Me Perth – CEO Challenge
Wednesday 3rd December 2014 was International Day of People With Disability. The “Walk With Me Perth – CEO Challenge” brought together corporate business leaders and disability ambassadors to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people living with a disability. The main event was a Segway Race which raised funds for Rocky Bay, a leading provider of disability services in Western Australia, which Aussie Crates was very happy to support.
SAVE African Rhino Foundation
In November 2014, Aussie Crates lent its support to the SAVE African Rhino Foundation by sponsoring a table at their annual fundraising gala dinner in Perth.
The SAVE Foundation is committed to saving the endangered species of Africa from extinction, with a particular focus on the African black rhino and Zimbabwe.
Santa’s Workshop
Aussie Crates is very happy to see its surplus timber recycled by a dedicated band of volunteers at Santa’s Workshop who convert timber offcuts into a variety of wooden wonders. Even when it’s not Christmas, the pine makes toys and games for community playgroups and childcare centres and presents for disadvantaged families.

WA Special Children’s Christmas Party
Aussie Crates is proud to sponsor the annual WA Special Children’s Christmas Party. This unique event is held to give children who have special needs and are suffering from life-threatening illnesses one of the happiest days of their life.
Perth Hills Bushfire Appeal
In January 2014, over 50 homes in the Perth Hills were destroyed by a bushfire that swept through the Parkerville and Stoneville communities. Aussie Crates donated to the Perth Hills Bushfire Appeal to support the families affected by this natural disaster
Rotary Club
In April 2014, Aussie Crates sponsored a team of cyclists who rode 75km from Northam to Swan View in WA to raise funds for Western Australians living with multiple sclerosis.
Support for Cancer
In October 2013, we sponsored an enthusiastic group of Sandvik Mining and Construction staff, participating in ‘The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer. This event raises funds for world-leading cancer research programs at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research.
York Probus Club
Aussie Crates is pleased to have supported the rural community by sponsoring York Probus Club, enabling a brand-new PA system for their meetings.
We have also supported or sponsored Port Bouvard Sporting & Rec clubs’s tennis division, Clarkson Little Athletic Club, South Mandurah Junior Football Club and Melville Fremantle Cycling Club.
