Around Christmas, we should all take some time to appreciate what we have and in some way give a helping hand to those who aren’t so fortunate.
Aussie Crates has shared its success by supporting a number of local charities and community groups over the year, including Rocky Bay, Santa’s Workshop and the WA Special Children’s Christmas Party.
Rocky Bay
As part of the International Day of People With Disability, the “Walk With Me Perth – CEO Challenge” brought together corporate business leaders and disability ambassadors to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people living with disability. The main event was a CEO’s Segway Race which raised funds for Rocky Bay, a leading provider of disability services in Western Australia.
Santa’s Workshop
Aussie Crates is very happy to see its surplus timber recycled by a dedicated band of volunteers at Santa’s Workshop, who convert timber offcuts into a variety of wooden wonders. Throughout the year, the pine is used to make toys and games for community playgroups & child care centres, and presents for disadvantaged families.
WA Special Children’s Christmas Party
Aussie Crates is proud to be a sponsor of the annual WA Special Children’s Christmas Party. This unique event is held to give children who have special needs and are suffering from life threatening illnesses one of the happiest days of their life.
